Airfield Security Members in Kosovo Receive Commendations

Col. Mike Ward Commander of the Canadian Contingent Kosovo Force (CCKFOR) presents Commander's Commendations to Sgt. Marty Brisbois (14 Wing Greenwood) left and Sgt. Dave Sawyer (8 Wing Trenton) on the right.

The award recipients, members of the Airfield Security Force attached to 408 Helicopter Squadron in Kosovo, put in many extra hours to rebuild a local elementary school during their six month tour of duty. They returned to Canada before Christmas, along with members of Edmonton's 408 Squadron having served since June 1999.

Marty is presently serving at the Canadian Embassy in Manilla, The Phillipines
