The life of Ken Brisbois

This is my father Kenneth Roy Brisbois in a painting of his life commissioned by my brother Paul. It depicts my father in the military, his marriage, his years at General Motors ( 44 ),as Recording Secretary of his Union, at Remembrance Day with my Mom, relaxing at home in his favorite chair, his last parade (after his stroke) and with my brother Master Corporal Martin Brisbois at Remembrance Day November 1997. The typical wave of his hat says it all.

My father Guardsman Kenneth R. Brisbois (D26851), served with the Canadian Grenadier Guards 22nd Armoured in World War II. He had a paralyzing stroke in April '97 and rejoined his comrades in arms and went with God on January 9, 1999. He fathered 10 children of which I Kenneth Jr. am the eldest. His wife, Bernice (bearer of ten), still resides at home.

His mission done.

He rests at last.
